We went to our favorite place for breakfast and found out that they are only open for dinner during the week. We found a place called Udupi Palace the food was very good, almost as good as Tacoma’s Gateway to India.
Then we stopped at the coolest bicycle maker Rivendell Bicycle Works, and spending a bunch of not so disposable income, Steve took some pictures for me while I was otherwise occupied View Album. I bought one of these lovely machines a while back from my now favorite bike shop Aaron’s Bicycle Repair in West Seattle.
We were cruising around looking for Mt. Diablo and could not find it, figures.
So we shot back to Berkeley, since we knew it was cool and easy to find. Walked around town and the University a bit and shot some electronic film.
Berkeley Public Safety Building. YOU SHALL KNOW THE TRUTH AND THE TRUTH SHALL MAKE YOU FREE. Or at least cheap. Cool a running chick. Cool little balcony on one of the buildings. Looks like a party to me. Not my kind but a party. Quite an eclectic collection of buildings. Harry R Wellman Hall, cool building. Maybe they engineered those griffens? Kinda like something from my time in the New Mexican desert. Cool roof on this one. I like to surroundings too. The roof line and that big window is cool. Nice details too. Wider view of The University Library. The University Library entrance, I wish it had been better lit. The clock tower on the University. A close up of the clock tower. The other side of that earlier building. Cool little area to relax and listen to the clock chimes. This has got to be a pretty old building. A little detail of that pretty old building. Around the other side of that pretty old building. That is a really good U-Lock too bad the rest of the bike was stolen. The gateway to The University. A nice simple fountain on campus. Cool tree lined walk. This is a church, it’s a little beat up but still cool looking. Another church, I asked the trees to step aside for a sec. Everyone bikes around here, cool. I want to stay. According to a local this is the home of some Architectural group. Very cool building. A close of of that cool stained glass. A cool old entry way. That glass is amazing. The full entry way. Checking out the local wildlife. She was posing out there. I think she might be posting these on Craig’s list. Another kinda cool church. Hmmm. Bicycles. What the heck is jitensha studio? THIS IS NOT A BATHROOM!!! This was found on the door at a business in Berkeley, we need these in our downtown too. Cool staricase and entry, I think it is a wine bar or some such. The California Theatre. Shattuck Cinemas.
