This is the North Head lighthouse outside of Ilwaco, WA.

On our way out to the lighthouse.
One of the buildings you can rent apparently.
And another that you can apparently rent for your vacation.
The Light Keepers Trail. Shhh. Be vewy vewy quiet…
The trail approaching the light house.
The North Head light house is up ahead.
The ocean. It is a very blustery day.
See the light? That means it is working.
The object of our grand quest.
Looking back the way we came.
This is cool. I never get tired of seeing these things.
Man look at that view. I could work here…
This L.H. was erected in 1898. I am guessing by the Light House Engineers???
In case you were wondering here is where you can find it. 46.17.57 North by 124.04.48 West. Get your GPS’s out you geocachers.
This puppy is looking a little weathered and worn.
Man that is going to leave a mark. I think that needs some new stucco.
I wonder how long between coats this has to go…
Man o man. Look at that surf…
I would love to climb those stairs up…
I just can’t get over how worn this is. I just want to grab a trowel or whatever you use and start patching…
From another vantage.
That is a loong way down.
Cool on our way out I saw this walk through tree. It is just big enough to do that.
Sunset on the ocean. How cool can you get. It is actually darn cold out.
