2007 Courage Classic day 1

Well as you can tell from my mobile posts, I had a great day on the ride.

I am sitting here in Cle Elum trying to post photos and having some difficulty, I will get it remedied when I get a chance.

I really miss the early registration, it was easy to get an early start and not have to waste a bunch of time standing in line. The beginning was ueventful and I kept expecting to get a little wiped. Thankfully it never happened.

I got really ravenous heading up to the pass, but food stuff bars did not sound appealing with a Speghetti lunch waiting at the top. Jason from Old town Bicycle worked on MTS (My Trusty Steed) while I chowed down. These guys are great.

The next stop was the Banana split stop and that is always a blast. Food and some nice scenery, some of it is in spandex. 😉

Then the trouble came, a really bad stretch of road leading to an inner tube getting changed on the side of the freeway.

The rest of the ride was smooth and easy ending in a yuppy breeding ground called Suncadia. Back atchoo tomorrow.
