We tried to post last night but ran into a snag. No internet access at all! Oh man what are we going to do?
So we edited our photos and started to type stuff up in advance for when we do get connected again. Thanks to SnowCrest Inc. Internet Cafe for getting us our fixes.
This is where I am going.
I got out for a little ride around Berkeley fairly early, road out to the Eastbay park and along the Bay trail. Saw the Takara Sake USA Inc. Tasting room and Museum, need to stop there next trip for sure.

This looks like the enterance to the perhaps Muslim Church. I did not get a picture of the ?No Trespassing? sign, we decided not to push our luck.
We ate breakfast at Whole Foods they have an ok breakfast bar. Then we were on the road, stopped in San Pablo to see some chuches one really cool one.
Then we finally got to our Railroad Park Motel. Ran into the City of Mt. Shasta for a laundry, groceries, dinner, and walking around.

That cool multi-use bridge closer up. I am almost on it.
There is where I came from. Nice trail.

Berkeley and the Bridge.
San Francisco in the distance. Wow this was handheld and at full zoom and quite overcast.
One of the bridges, I can’t remember which one.
Another shot of San Fran from a distance.
Here is my trusty steed for this journey. 95 Kona Koa with a suspension front end and all kinds of carp bolted onto it.
What is this off in the distance… I must be missing something this is Berkely after all.
That is really what it says. Cool, I want to move here even more now.
This is interesting, it is a traffic circle and a four way stop??? What is really the point then?
Cool house. The flat roof I guess can work down here.

I LOVE seeing these signs.
This is something foreign to us in Washington. Lets do recycling for real and not just talk about it.
Some kind of a perhaps Muslim Church. Very cool design.

Also in Mt Shasta, a cool gate and arbor. Next to a quaint little barber shop.

The actual mountain. Also very cool, looks like the weather will be changing.
Kitty we found in the city of Mt Shasta. Very friendly.
The friendly kitty from Mt Shasta again, a little blury it was getting dusk and I was getting shakey.
Such a cute kitty.
Mt Shasta culture at it’s best. Just kidding.
A very very friendly kitty in Mt Shasta, very rough meow though kinda like a Harley. There was one at his house but the pics did not work out.
